Blast from the Past: Bratislava

My Blast from the Past: Rome post has been well accepted, so I decided to browse my archives and share some more impressions from my previous trips. Today I’m taking you to the largest city and a capital of Slovakia, to Bratislava. Here are some snaps from my visit in autumn 2014:

We went to Bratislava last year and really liked it. We went from Vienna and I would have liked to have stayed longer (I have done some posts on it as well). Your lovely photos have brought back happy memories of our day there thanks for sharing 🙂

Enjoyed looking at your post as it brought back good memories of when we were in Bratislava last year. For us the quirky street art was a real feature. The ‘blast from the past’ theme is a good way of writing about and showing off photos from places you’ve been before you started your blog. Cheers, Mark

Hey there! Very happy that I discovered this blog. I come from Slovakia and lived in Bratislava for 4 years (before I moved to Slovenia, hehe). The pictures are very nice, I have wonderful memories from my life in the city… although it is not Rome or Paris, it has a special atmosphere and especially SOUL 🙂 Good luck in Switzerland, you have a new follower!

      Hi Petra!
Thank you for your kind words! I agree, Bratislava is one of those cities that have such a good vibe, you simply need to like it. 🙂
Considering how much of Slovenes recently left Slovenia, it is very interesting for me to hear you moved to Slovenia. What brought you to my home country? 🙂
