Sunsets are magical time of the day when the evening sky shines in the most amazing colours. I witnessed many stunning sunsets, but was able to capture just a few of them on my photos. Here are some of those photos:

Strunjan, Slovenia

Mallorca, Spain

Weggis, Switzerland

Tokyo, Japan

Florianópolis, Brazil

Paris, France

Cairo, Egypt

Mediterranean sea

Malečnik, Slovenia

Tribunj, Croatia
Beautiful. Something everyone understands no matter where they live or what language they speak!

I’m obsessed with watching sunsets! I swear half the photos on my phone are just pictures of sunsets or sunrises haha. I love all your beautiful photos! 🙂

Hehe. I must admit I’m more in favour of sunsets as I usually sleep through sunrises. 😊😄 Thank you!

Oh trust me, I would be in bed during all the sunrises if I wasn’t on my way to work 🙂

im loooking at Florianopolis as a stop on next year’s south american (hopefully) adventure. what can you tell me about it?

Florianopolis is a very nice place. I remember it as a very peaceful in comparison to Rio and Sao Paulo. No one spoke English, so we had some interesting situations on that account. 🙂
We’ve spent most of our time in Florianopolis just relaxing at the lovely sandy beaches of the island part of the city. After a week of traveling around Brazil and sightseeing, we need some time to refill our batteries and Florianopolis was a great place to do this.
What other places are you considering to visit on your trip?

ecuador, peru, bolivia and argentina and then i am weighing up the options. its still 11 months away.

Sounds like it has a potential of a great trip! 🙂 I envy you! 🙂
Re. Florianopolis, I must admit it is not the most impressive place, I’ve been to in Brazil, but I guess, it was hard for me to be impressed after visiting the amazing Iguazu Falls (which I loved) and Rio (which was really unique and overwhelming). I’ll posted about Florianopolis soon, so you’ll be able to see few photos I took there.

I have to say, while sunsets are beautiful, sunrises are even better… unfortunately most of us are not born to be morning persons 😀

Beautiful images…I love sunsets as opposed to sunrise because I’m not a morning person. Some people feel that sunsets signify endings whereas sunrise signify beginnings. But I love sunsets particularly because of the bright & vivid colours 🙂

Weggis is my favourite, but la Tour Eiffel is a beauty too. 🙂

Gorgeous collection of sunsets from another part of the world that I have yet to visit. Your Eiffel Tower sunset shot is really unusual and beautifully captured. I have been to Paris 3 times but have never managed to capture the magic of the monument as you have done!

Regarding the Eiffel tower photo, I was very lucky to be there on such a stunning evening. The lights and the colours of the sky were indeed magic.

Some wonderful sunsets here! I remember the ones from Weggis well – so lovely as the sun sets over Lake Lucerne!
