Who hasn’t dreamt of swimming with the dolphins at least at some point of their life? I most certainly did. Just before my husband and booked our flights to Mauritius, we found out this island in the middle of the Indian Ocean is one of the places where you can swim and observe the dolphins in their natural habitat. This seemed like an ideal opportunity to finally fulfill our childhood dreams. So, we didn’t hesitate long before we decided to book a trip to go swimming with dolphins. Our experience was amazing. See for yourself in the video down bellow:
I have a confession to make. I have a bit of a writers block. I simply don’t find neither motivation for writing, nor the right words to describe the beauty of Mauritius. Because they say a picture is worth a thousand words, here are ten of my favourite photos I took while exploring this beautiful island in the middle of Indian Ocean. I hope you’ll enjoy them.
From 27th April to 6th May 2018
- Stunning beaches
- Underwater world
- Wild dolphins spotting
- Beautiful unique nature
My dad is turning 50 this year. As this is kind of a big deal anniversary, my mum, husband and I are taking him to Mauritius, a tiny island in the Indian ocean, situated east of Madagascar. Once described by Mark Twain with those words: “Mauritius was made first, and then heaven, and that heaven was copied after Mauritius.” seems like an ideal destination for dad’s 50th birthday celebrations.
In order to make my dad’s birthday trip even more memorable, I would like to ask YOU my dear readers for some assistance. If you have already visited Mauritius, what are your favourite places there? What attractions are must see? Which beaches did you like the best? Where is the best snorkelling? What activities would you recommend? Where do they serve the best food? What local delicacy must we try? Any suggestion would be highly appreciated!
