It’s time for new Blast from the Past post! Today I’m remembering my trip to the Austrian capital Vienna, I’ve visited on a cold winter day in December 2006. I’ve visited the imperial Schönbrunn palace, strolled through the lovely decorated streets of the old town, drank mulled wine at the Christmas Markets and enjoyed the pre-Christmas atmosphere in town. Here are some snaps from my visit:
nice photos! I hope you’re having fun in Scotland!:)

Thanks Tanja!
Unfortunately, all the good things come to an end and I’m already back in Switzerland.

Beautiful city! I haven’t been since 2008 and am itching to go back with my husband. So much history, culture and beauty in Vienna!

Unfortunately, I already returned back to Switzerland. It was a short trip.
Oh, really? I didn’t know. 🙂 Edinburgh is such a lovely town. I loved it. I’ll write more about it in the following days. 🙂

Love Vienna – we went back again a couple of years ago after a gap of many years. I could have spent weeks there! The photos in the winter months are lovely (we were there in spring last time at Easter, which was also very pretty) 🙂

I also went to Vienna last October, sadly the weather was the worst and I just visited a museum in order to see ‘The Kiss’ by Gustav Klimt…

Definitely worth a revisit. My last visit was in 1999.
