Bern on a Sunny Summer Day

Today, I went to Bern, de facto capital of Switzerland, where I had few errands to run. As my visit wasn’t for pleasure, I didn’t have much time to do sightseeing. Though, I still manage to enjoy walking the picturesque streets and stop at one of the parks where I’ve enjoyed the clear views towards the Swiss Alps. Here are some photos capturing this beautiful summer day:

Summer is coming to your part of the world soon, don’t worry. 😉
Yes, Bern is full of historical buildings. 🙂 Actually, those are so well preserved UNESCO inscribed them to their World Heritage List. 🙂

Looks like a gorgeous day there Urska! Have been to Bern once on one of our Swiss trips a few years back. We had a lovely lunch in the Altstadt and also wandered in the grounds down near the river. It was a beautiful city and the old historical buildings wonderfully preserved! 🙂
