Earlier this week, I’ve attended the Geneva International Motor Show where some seriously cool cars are put on display: from regular vehicles, to concept cars and luxury tailor-made vehicles.
The 85th edition of the show is held from 5th to 15th March 2015 at Geneva Palexpo, a convention centre located next to the Geneva Airport on the Swiss-French Border.
The Palexpo is easy accessible by all means of transport. I’ve travelled there with a group of friends travelled by car. It was a bit nerve wrecking experience. After following confusing signs to the parking area, we waited in a queue for more than an hour. When we finally reached the parking entrance, it was full and we were redirected away from it, not knowing where to go. Luckily, while driving in unknown, we spotted a sign to the P-48 parking area. We parked the car there, bought the tickets (16 CHF/person), pay the parking fee (20 CHF/car) and took the free shuttle bus to the Palexpo building. There, in words of my friend: “we stepped into heaven for car enthusiasts”. We wander around the halls admiring shiny vehicles of all shapes and colours.
Although not being a car-enthusiast, the visit was interesting experience for me. Witnessing the latest innovations from the car industry, seeing spectacular top-luxury car brands you don’t have a chance to see that often on the streets was really cool.
